Calvin and his wife did a discipleship training school through YWAM in 2009. He felt led to follow Jesus whole heartedly after reading the Gospels. After an intense 6 month training, they feel led to continue missions as a lifestyle in their own community and around the world as God calls. Calvin also donates his time and graphic design to Child of the King Fund. Child of the King is a non-profit organization that helps families that would like to adopt but need help with where to start the adoption process and the cost of adoption. Calvin Hanson co-founded Uptogood.org with Rusty Kinnunen in 2007. The purpose of uptogood.org is to provide humanitarian aid through the selling of merchandise such as t-shirts designed by talented artists from around the country.
