I think what really makes this logo is the positioning of the trackhoe. With some background in knowing how these machines work from Kyle Brush, we dicided to put the trackhoe on pivot on a hillside. Sometimes when designing a logo, you get lucky. On this one, the windows on the trackhoe spell out DB or David Brush. With a little manipulating, I made the letters more defined.
